Florida Resident Discounts for Universal Studios
Updated: 20 May 2013 06:14:20 AM
Universal Studios Florida has plenty of great discounts to offer residents of its home state.
Whether you’re local to Central Florida or are coming in from the shores of Miami Beach, you can take advantage of some of the steepest discounts available for park tickets and hotels this summer at Universal Studios.
For starters, you can purchase park tickets for 1 day and get a 2nd day free.
This offer only runs until May 24th, 2013 and must be redeemed by May 26th, 2013.
Florida residents have the choice between purchasing a 1-day park-to-park ticket for $128.00 and receiving a second day free, or purchasing a 1-day single park ticket for $92.00 and receiving a second day free.
If you can’t make it to Universal Studios by May 26th, then you can still take advantage of normal Florida resident discounts, which save you over $30.00 off gate prices on multi-day tickets.
Universal Studios Florida does run these type of deals during off peak season.
Off peak is normally when there are no major holidays and kids are normally in school.
Universal Studios Hotel Deals
If you’re traveling from out of town this summer, then it’s worth checking out Universal’s hotel deals for Florida residents.
The park has three AAA Four Diamond onsite hotels that are all offering preferred rates to Floridians from April 21, 2013 to August 17, 2013.
As an added bonus, you’ll also receive a Universal Express pass, which will allow you to skip the regular lines at the park and is worth up to $89.00 per guest, per day.
On top of all that, you’ll also get early park admission to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
Proof of Residence Required
To be eligible for any Florida Resident discounts, you and each of your guests must provide proof of residence in the form of a Florida driver’s license (with a Florida address), Florida state issued license, Florida voter registration card with accompanying photo ID, or a college ID from a Florida university with an accompanying photo ID.
Affordable Universal Studios For Non Florida Residents
Look into trading a couple of hours of your vacation to attend a timeshare seminar if you meet a developers requirements.
The 90 - 120 minute presentation comes with a no obligation to purchase anything.
Timeshare might not be for you.
You might want to stay again at a participating resort in future without a tour or at the very least mention to friends and family members.
The resorts believe in this word of mouth advertising.
