Any visit to the Magic Kingdom is, well, magical.

However, if you are looking to make your visit just a bit more exciting and you have the resources, consider booking one of the special tours offered at the Magic Kingdom.

Whether you want to know more about the man behind the vision, go on a fast-paced scavenger hunt with your family, or discover the secrets of this park, there is a tour available for you.

Keys to the Kingdom Tour

This five hour behind the scenes tour is the ultimate Magic Kingdom experience – if you are ready to see behind the curtains!

This tour is adults only, as some of the magic of Walt Disney World is explained, and because of the length.

On this tour, you get a chance to peek into the inner workings of what it takes to keep the magic alive at the Magic Kingdom every single day.

Part of this tour is a stop in the Utilidors, the underground network of tunnels that Disney uses to move characters – and trash! – out of guest’s vision.

Your knowledgeable tour guide will fill you in along the way with little known trivia.

Another stop you will make on the tour is the backstage parade area.

Lunch is included, and reservations are required.

Walk-up tours are based on availability at Guest Services.

Family Magic Tour

If your family wants a special tour, don’t miss the Family Magic Tour, an interactive scavenger hunt around the Magic Kingdom!

Your guide will help you follow the map and clues, and you may even meet some surprise characters along the way!

This tour takes around two hours, and winds around most of the park – so be ready to cover some ground and have fun! Reservations required.

Magic Behind Our Steam Trains

Engineer your visit by learning more about the Steam Trains at the Magic Kingdom, and the role they play in the daily operation of the park.

You will get to see where the trains are stored and serviced, and what it takes to keep the engines chugging!

Each train is named and lovingly cared for, and this three hour tour also gives you a chance to meet the engineers who keep the trains going every day.

Reservations required.

Marceline to Magic Kingdom Tour

Walt Disney’s idyllic hometown of Marceline, Missouri greatly influenced his vision of Main Street USA, and this tour gives you an insider glimpse of Walt’s life, including his time in Marceline.

This guided walking tour is based on the man behind the magic, and some of the history leading up to the opening of the park. One perk of this tour is early entry to the park.

Reservations required.
