Orlando Tropical Fest at Orlando Festival Park

Updated: 14 March 2013 07:45:31 AM

The Orlando Tropical Fest will be taking place this year on April 7th, from 12pm to 8pm at Orlando Festival Park.

The festival has been organized by Orlando-based  Rene’s Productions to celebrate Hispanic culture and is the first in what will likely become an annual event.

Backed by sponsors such as McDonalds, Bud Light and two Spanish language radio stations, a whopping 30,000 people are expected to attend the festival, which will feature live tropical-themed music, food, and drinks.

Though not all the vendors for the event have been finalized, the Orlando Tropical Fest is slated to include a variety of food vendors and beer stations in addition to booths run by the event’s sponsors, several cell phone companies and the U.S. Army.

Celebrated Spanish-language artists like NG2, Limite 21, Raphy Leavitt and La Selecta will be on hand to provide live entertainment throughout this 8 hour family-friendly festival.

All the while you’ll be able to enjoy great food, drinks and connect with the local culture.

The outdoor event will take full advantage of the warm Florida sun and is a great way to spend a Saturday and celebrate Hispanic culture in Orlando and Central Florida.

Advanced tickets to the Orlando Tropical Fest are just $8, while tickets purchased the day of the event are $10.

Children under 10 years old can enter for free.
