Westgate Resort Employees May Lose Jobs

Updated: 11 Oct 2012 01:30:33 AM

David Siegel the owner of the world's largest privately owned timeshare resorts says if Romney is not elected he may have to layoff people.

An email sent this past Monday stated if any new taxes were imposed on him or his company he must just go ahead and retire in the Caribbean!

Mr. Siegel became a household name for a film documentary "Queen of Versailles".

Film is based on his quest to build the largest single family home in the country.

The home is said to be a 90,000 square-foot, $100 million home.

Touring a Westgate Resort Before Election Day

In light of Mr. Siegel's declaration it might be wise to wait purchasing a Westgate timeshare unit until we see how the election goes.

You should still take advantage of their promotional offers for the discounts.

In my opinion if a resorts cuts down on employees services might be impacted in some way.

Hopefully if he keeps his promise then just sales personnel would be the only ones impacted.

Housekeeping and maintenance are departments that keep a resort up and running!

Avoid Uncertainty

If you're thinking of buying a timeshare, take a look at one of ours!

Silver Lake & Calypso Cay resorts do not seem to be impacted by election results.

They have not told employees jobs would be in jeopardy if Obama is reelected.
